Production Manager

Overview

All Pro Painters is looking for a Production Manager / Project Supervisor to oversee residential and commercial painting projects across the Ottawa area.

You will lead field crews, coordinate job sites, maintain safety standards, and ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and with exceptional quality.

This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems on job sites, and delivering outstanding results for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Crew Leadership

• Supervise and lead painting crews on job sites

• Provide coaching and performance feedback

• Help recruit and develop new painters and crew leaders

• Maintain a positive and productive team culture

Project & Job Site Management

• Manage multiple painting projects simultaneously

• Ensure work is completed on schedule and to quality standards

• Conduct job-site inspections and resolve issues quickly

• Coordinate materials, equipment, and resources

Customer Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during production

• Address customer questions and concerns

• Identify opportunities to upsell additional work

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce job site safety protocols

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Operations Coordination

• Manage materials inventory and supply ordering

• Coordinate with the office team for project scheduling

• Ensure smooth communication between crews and management

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the painting industry

• Supervisory or crew leadership experience

• Valid G driver’s license with clean driving record

• Reliable vehicle for job site travel

• Must live in Ottawa or Gatineau-Hull

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work

• Comfortable interacting with customers

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Working at Heights certification

• WHMIS certification

• Construction or trade leadership experience
