Job role:
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, detailed, and competitive cost estimates for construction projects primarily involving CSI MasterFormat Division 3 (Concrete) and Division 9 (Finishes). This includes performing quantity takeoffs, reviewing and interpreting architectural and construction drawings, analyzing project specifications, and obtaining competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
You will develop estimates for a wide range of scopes, including concrete works, drywall and framing systems, ceilings, painting, flooring systems, wall finishes, and other interior finishes. A strong understanding of floor coding and the ability to accurately identify, quantify, and estimate various flooring materials and associated components are essential.
The role also involves evaluating subcontractor proposals, maintaining organized estimate documentation, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring all estimates align with project requirements, budgets, and deadlines. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of CSI classifications and construction estimating principles.
Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously, communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners, and deliver high-quality, accurate estimates in a fast-paced construction environment while contributing to the overall profitability and success of each project.
What you will do:
Accurately estimating costs and ensuring the success and profitability of our clients' projects
Responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for Commercial Painting and Concrete .
Analyzing project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine material, labor, and equipment costs, and working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, vendor coordination, and meticulous documentation
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and related documents.
Experience with construction takeoff software tools, such as Bluebeam, Construct Connect (bidding software), Leap (CRM), Plan Hub, Gsuite, Company cam
Proficiency in cost estimation techniques, including knowledge of material and labor costs, as well as an understanding of market trends.
Oversee system access, updates, and technical issue resolution.
Assist service-based companies (such as painting, construction, or home services) in connecting their CRM data (Leapl) to dashboards for cost, sales, revenue, and performance tracking.

Proven experience in US Estimation and Takeoffs
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience estimating and managing CRMs (Leap)
Familiarity with tools used in construction, trades, or home services industries.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
Capable of working independently and proactively solving problems.
Experience working with US-based teams or companies.
