About This Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily field operations, technician performance, scheduling, and overall service delivery across all active job sites. This role serves as the central point of coordination between the field team, office staff, and company leadership. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, systems-driven leader, and highly proficient in the platforms and tools used to run our operations.

Required Systems & Technology

  • ServiceTitan (Required): Must have working knowledge of job management, dispatching, invoicing, reporting, and technician performance tracking within ServiceTitan. Experience navigating customer records, job close-out workflows, and membership management is essential.

  • Microsoft Teams (Required): Must be proficient in using Teams for internal communication, file sharing, scheduling meetings, and cross-department coordination.

  • Signal (Required): Must be comfortable managing and monitoring Signal group chats used for field team communication, dispatching updates, and real-time operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily field operations including technician scheduling, dispatching, and job completion tracking

  • Monitor and manage all active jobs in ServiceTitan, ensuring timely updates, proper documentation, and accurate invoicing

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for field technicians throughout the workday via Signal and Microsoft Teams

  • Conduct regular check-ins with field staff to address issues, provide direction, and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Review technician performance metrics and provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action as needed

  • Coordinate with the office team on scheduling conflicts, parts procurement, and customer escalations

  • Ensure all job close-out processes are completed accurately and on time, including photos, notes, and invoicing

  • Lead or support daily/weekly operations meetings and communicate priorities to the field team

  • Monitor team adherence to company policies including uniform standards, device usage, and communication protocols

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend or implement process improvements

  • Assist in onboarding new technicians and ensuring they are trained on systems and field standards

  • Report key operational metrics and updates to ownership/leadership on a regular basis

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an operations, field management, or supervisory role — preferably in home services, plumbing, or a related trade industry

  • Demonstrated proficiency with ServiceTitan (certification or verifiable hands-on experience strongly preferred)

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Signal for team communication and coordination

  • Proven ability to manage multiple technicians and job sites simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive and professional work culture

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business or operations management preferred

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Benefits package details will be provided during the interview process.
