About This Role

Joe Taylor Restoration is hiring for a Water Project Team Lead in FL. You will lead restoration teams through water, fire, smoke, mold, and wind damage projects, managing crews, communicating with homeowners and insurance adjusters, and ensuring every property is brought back to pre-disaster condition on time and on budget.

What You Will Do Each Day

  • Lead the successful completion of water, fire, smoke, mold, and wind damage restoration projects

  • Manage assigned employees and ensure tasks are completed effectively and efficiently on every job site

  • Perform site inspections and oversee project quality from initiation through completion

  • Communicate with homeowners, business owners, insurance adjusters, and subcontractors throughout each project

  • Ensure all project documents are complete, current, and uploaded appropriately

  • Maintain equipment and vehicles in responsible working condition

Requirements

Education and/or Experience and Qualifications The minimum education required is a Bachelor’s Degree. Candidates should have one to three (1–3) years of experience and/or training in the Water Department. A valid Driver’s License is required, and candidates must hold WTR Certification. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities The employee is expected to recognize the influence of beliefs and cultures on behaviors and accept strengths and limitations in others. They must exhibit adaptability, flexibility, self-control, and maturity in work and behavior. Strong decision-making skills are essential, along with the ability to remain calm and responsive in emergency or stressful situations. The employee should be able to recognize situations that require notification of a manager and take initiative to ensure all deadlines are met. This role requires positive interaction with employees at all levels, as well as the ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate data effectively both verbally and in writing. The employee should be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership. Assignments must be completed with promptness and accuracy, and deadlines must be consistently met. The employee should be able to prioritize work assignments and complete tasks efficiently. Physical Requirements The physical demands of this position include occasionally standing, walking, sitting, using hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and talking or hearing. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may be exposed to indoor and outdoor weather conditions, hazards, vibrations, and moderate noise.
