The Estimator serves as the primary point of contact for customers, insurance adjusters, and homeowners throughout the restoration process. This role is responsible for inspecting property damage, preparing accurate estimates, securing project approvals, and managing restoration projects from start to finish. The Estimator ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards while delivering exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Do
Conduct site inspections to assess damage caused by fire, smoke, water, mold, wind, and biohazards.
Prepare accurate estimates for restoration projects.
Obtain customer approvals and signed contracts to begin work.
Communicate with homeowners, business owners, insurance adjusters, and subcontractors throughout the project.
Manage assigned restoration projects from start to completion.
Supervise assigned employees and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
Monitor project progress, timelines, and quality.
Manage jobs through CRM and coordinate with insurance adjusters.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred.
1–3 years of estimating, restoration, or project management experience.
Valid driver's license.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience with Xactimate.
Preferred certifications: Mold Certification, AMRT, WRT and Lead Certification

Salary Range: $125,000–$250,000

Education and/or Experience and Qualifications
The minimum education required is a High School Diploma. Candidates should have one to three (1–3) years of experience in sales. A valid Driver’s License is also required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The Estimator is expected to recognize the influence of beliefs and cultures on behaviors and accept strengths and limitations in others. They must exhibit adaptability, flexibility, self-control, and maturity in work and behavior. Strong decision-making skills are essential, along with the ability to remain calm and responsive in emergency or stressful situations. The Estimator should be able to recognize situations that require notification of a manager and take initiative to ensure all deadlines are met.
This role requires positive interaction with employees at all levels, as well as the ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate data effectively both verbally and in writing. The Estimator should be able to present information and respond to questions from leadership in a timely manner. Assignments must be completed with promptness and accuracy, and deadlines must be consistently met. The Estimator should be able to prioritize work assignments and complete tasks efficiently. Attendance at monthly marketing events is also required.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands of this position include occasionally standing, walking, sitting, using hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and talking or hearing. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may be exposed to indoor and outdoor weather conditions, hazards, vibrations, and moderate noise.
