Position Summary
-Responsible for efficiently managing tech routes, dispatching calls, and updating service statuses to ensure timely HVAC service delivery.
-Acts as a critical communication hub between technicians, customers, and management to drive operational success and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Manage and assign daily service calls to HVAC technicians based on skillset and geographic location.
-Monitor service progress and update customer service statuses in real time.
-Coordinate effectively with technicians and management to address scheduling conflicts and urgent repairs.
-Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities and service history
-Ensure communication accuracy to support billing and customer follow-up processes.
Key Tasks / Daily Activities
-Review incoming service requests and prioritize calls efficiently.
-Dispatch qualified technicians to service calls promptly while ensuring optimal route management.
-Track technician progress using the company’s dispatch software and update the system regularly.
-Communicate with customers to confirm appointments and relay technician ETAs.
-Resolve scheduling issues and reassign calls as needed to maintain service standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
-Experience in a dispatch or operations role, preferably in field service industries
-Strong communication skills and proficiency in dispatch and routing software.
-Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
-Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
-Experience in the HVAC or broader home services industry.
-Familiarity with CRM and dispatch management systems.
-Prior experience managing technician schedules and routes.
-Background in customer service and field operations coordination.
