Maxteriors is a fast-growing outdoor lighting company serving Michigan homeowners with:

We are building a championship sales team and looking for driven, coachable individuals who want to earn what they’re worth.

The Opportunity

• Start by knocking doors and setting appointments

• Quickly advance into a closing role as you prove yourself

Your Career Path

Door Knocker / Setter (Weeks 1–2)

• Earn 3% commission on every appointment you set that closes

• Average close: $210 per deal

• Focus on canvassing, scripts, and booking qualified appointments

• Training pay: For the first two weeks, earn training pay of $500 when you meet attendance expectations.

Door Knocker / Closer (Weeks 3–4)

• 7% commission on warm leads

• 11% commission on self-generated (cold) deals

• Average earnings:

  • Warm close: ~$490

  • Cold close: ~$770

• Must close $20K+ in a single month to advance

Senior Setter / Closer (Weeks 5–8)

• Increased commission tiers

• Run 10+ in-home presentations

• Hit callback and show rate targets

Account Executive (Weeks 9–12)

• Full commission on all closed deals

• Close $5K+ in new revenue to qualify

• $250 milestone bonus

Senior Account Executive (Ongoing)

• Close $50K+ per month consistently

• Earn override commissions on team deals

• $500 performance bonus + annual retention bonus

• Direct path to management (Operations, Sales, Leadership)

What You’ll Do

• Knock doors in targeted residential neighborhoods

• Set qualified appointments for lighting consultations

• Run in-home presentations and close deals

• Follow up with leads and maintain a strong pipeline

• Represent Maxteriors with professionalism and pride

What We’re Looking For

• Hungry, coachable, and willing to work hard from day one

• Comfortable talking to strangers and knocking doors

• Competitive mindset — you want to win

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• No prior sales experience required (we train everything)

• Experience in door-to-door, roofing, solar, or home services is a plus

Compensation

• 100% commission-only role (no base salary)

• Setter rate: 3% of closed job value

• Warm closer rate: 7% of closed job value

• Cold closer rate: 11% of closed job value

• Average job value: $7,000

• Top performers earn $60,000–$100,000+ annually

• Commission increases as you advance
