The Technician should maintain a positive and respectful relationship with the customer, with their crew, and with the management team. Daily Tasks: The Landscape Maintenance Technician will be responsible for working with 1-2 crew members, and equipment operation as well as ensuring that all assigned projects are well-maintained and well execute. Typical assigned jobs include but are not limited to: commercial and residential mowing, trimming, spraying/spreading of pesticides, fertilization of lawns, shrub pruning, mulching, leaf removals, plant installations, installation of river rock. It’s important that jobs be carried out with attention to detail. Pay is $25 to $30 per hour depending on experience, plus a $5 per hour bonus during snow events. You need a valid driver's license and the ability to reach our North Versailles shop within 30 minutes of a call-in, because you will be out clearing lots and walkways while the storm is still coming down. At Local Roots, foremen are not micromanaged — they get trusted, supported, and held accountable. We build high-end outdoor living spaces and we take pride in craftsmanship and professionalism on every site.
