Haygood Scientific Tool, a trusted name in precision machining for over 70 years, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Precision Machinist to join our team in Houston, Texas. What You'll Do
Operate advanced CNC equipment to produce complex, high-tolerance parts
Set up, program (a plus), and run conventional and CNC machines
Machine parts ranging from 3/16 inch to 24 inch
Work with a wide range of material types and grades across industries
Perform in-process inspections and maintain strict quality standards
Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and turnaround times

What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Precision Machinist, preferably with CNC experience
Strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T principles
Commitment to producing high-quality work
Experience in oil & gas or chemical industries is a strong asset
Requirements
Ability to independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC and/or conventional machines
Proficiency using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical instructions
Strong understanding of tooling selection, feeds and speeds, and material properties
Pay & Benefits
Pay: $25-$35/hr
