Honest Air Heating and Cooling
We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Technician who is as committed to craftsmanship and customer care as we are.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced diagnostics on complex HVAC systems to accurately identify and resolve issues.
- Train, mentor, and guide other HVAC staff in updated procedures, diagnostics, and repair methods.
- Oversee operations at the job site to ensure compliance with local, state, and industry codes and safety standards.
- Coordinate and manage service schedules in collaboration with operations to deliver timely and effective service.
- Key Tasks / Daily Activities
- Perform detailed inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of commercial and residential HVAC systems.
- Lead on-site repairs, ensuring high quality, efficient workmanship and correct system operation.
- Walk customers through your findings, explain proposed repair procedures, and provide maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain thorough documentation of diagnostics, repairs, parts used, safety/compliance checks, and customer interactions.
About You – Qualifications & Traits
- Several years (ideally 3+ years) of HVAC experience, with a strong foundation in diagnostics and repair.
- Experience in guiding or mentoring others (even informally), with a willingness to take on a leadership or technical training role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details in terms customers understand.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, dependable, and safety-minded.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
