Recreational Gymnastics Coach

• Coach children ages 2 through teen in gymnastics, tumbling, ninja, or related recreational programs.

• Lead fun, safe, and engaging classes while helping students develop skills and confidence.

• Create a positive learning environment for athletes of all ability levels.

• Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and class expectations.

• Ensure safety standards are followed at all times.

Qualifications

Required

• Must enjoy working with children and families.

• Positive, energetic, and professional attitude.

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work well as part of a team.

• Ability to actively supervise children in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Experience working with children, coaching, teaching, childcare, camps, sports, dance, or customer service.

• Gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling, dance, or sports background.

• Sales or customer service experience.

• First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout a shift.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.

• Ability to demonstrate or assist with physical activities.

• Ability to supervise active children in a gym environment.

Work Schedule

This position is primarily scheduled during:

• Weekday afternoons and evenings

• Saturdays

• School holidays

• Summer camps and special events (when applicable)

Schedules may vary depending on department and seasonal needs.
