Badger Gutters Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated, outgoing, commission-only Sales Representative to help grow our business. In this role, you will proactively generate leads, engage with prospective clients, deliver estimates, close sales, and follow through to ensure customer satisfaction. You will represent Badger Gutters in your territory, embodying our brand promise of reliability, transparency, and excellent workmanship. Key Responsibilities: - Prospect for new business through outbound sales techniques: cold calling, door knocking, referrals, networking, direct mail, and digital outreach. - Follow up on inbound leads (requests for estimates) to convert into sales. - Conduct in-person appointments/inspections: assess existing gutter systems, identify issues like leaks, blockages, structural damage, need for guards, etc. - Prepare and present estimates: recommend solutions (repair, cleaning, replacement, guards) tailored to client’s needs & budget. - Close sales and meet or exceed sales targets. - Maintain accurate records: client contacts, proposals, follow-up, sales pipeline. - Coordinate with operations/installation teams to ensure customer expectations are met post-sale. - Maintain excellent customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction and referrals. Requirements: - Valid driver’s license, clean driving record. - Reliable transportation to travel throughout the service area (often including travel to customers’ homes, possibly long distances depending on region). - Strong outbound sales skills and mindset; comfortable initiating contact, cold calls, door to door, etc. - Excellent communication (verbal & written), ability to build rapport quickly. - Self-motivated, goal-driven, able to work independently. - Basic knowledge of the gutter or related industries is a plus. For example: - Experience in roofing, siding, exterior home repair, or home improvement sales. - Understanding of gutter systems (materials, installation issues, common failure points), water drainage, rainwater management. - Familiarity with gutter guards, gutter maintenance services. Compensation: - 100% commission based, no base salary. - Commission structure to be discussed (e.g. percentage of sale, bonuses for hitting targets, etc.). - Potential for high earnings, depending on sales performance. - Travel and vehicle expenses are the responsibility of the representative, unless otherwise agreed.
