Position Overview
We’re seeking a motivated, self-driven Sales Representative working on a commission-only basis to help expand Oasis Gutters’ footprint. You’ll generate leads, meet with homeowners, present solutions, close deals, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction — representing Oasis Gutters as a trusted expert in gutter & roofing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect for new clients using outbound methods: cold calls, door-to-door canvassing, referrals, networking, digital outreach.
- Respond to inbound leads (quote requests) quickly and convert them into sales.
- Conduct site visits / inspections: evaluate existing gutter systems, identify leaks, sagging, blockages, poor drainage, fasciaissues, roof-gutter interactions, etc.
- Prepare and present estimates / proposals for gutter installations, repairs, gutter guards, roof + gutter bundles, fascia work.
- Close the sale — negotiate terms, overcome objections, and secure commitment.
- Track and manage your sales pipeline, follow up diligently.
- Coordinate with operations/installation teams to schedule work and ensure that customer expectations are met post-sale.
- Focus on building strong customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to serve the assigned territory (travel to residential job sites, sometimes distant within service area).
- Proven comfort with outbound sales: prospecting, cold outreach, initiating contact, persistence.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate technical details simply and convincingly.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, disciplined — able to manage your time, pipeline, and follow through without close supervision.
Prior experience or familiarity with the gutter, roofing, or exterior home improvement industry is a plus. Ideal background might include:
• Roofing sales or home exterior products
• Gutter installation or maintenance
• Exterior remodeling, siding, drainage systems
• Understanding of rainwater management, flashing, downspouts, gutter guards
Compensation
- 100% commission compensation model (no salaried base).
- Commission rates and bonus structures to be discussed (e.g. percentage of gross sale, tiered bonuses for hitting monthly or quarterly quotas).
- Travel and vehicle expenses are generally borne by the salesperson, unless otherwise agreed.
