Field Technician (Exterior Cleaning)

The Field Technician position is a key role at Cardella Building Services Corp. You are the “tip of the spear” when it comes to serving our customers. Your quality of service, friendly demeanor, attention to detail and professionalism go a long way in making Cardella a memorable company in the eyes of our clients.

The Field Technician represents the future leadership of our Operations Department. FTs who show a willingness to learn new things and effectively put them into practice have an excellent opportunity to pursue a greater role with Cardella.

Production

● Efficiently work alone or in a crew of two or more, doing your part to ensure that all Cardella standard operating procedures are followed.

● Assist Crew Leader in timely arrival and completion of all scheduled work each day.

● Bring all necessary tools and equipment with you, including buckets, poles and PPE.

● Look for opportunities to increase daily revenue through simple up-sells and additional scheduled work (when ahead of schedule), under the direction of the Crew Leader.

● Do your part to help your team meet revenue and production targets each day

○ Minimum $800/technician per day for residential window cleaning

○ 0% call-back rate

● Ensure that all of your personal work meets or exceeds Cardella’s quality standards.

Customer Relations

● Do your part to ensure that each customer is extremely pleased with the experience.

● Follow all standard operating procedures and customer service principles at all times.

● Always conduct yourself in a professional and pleasant manner.

● Bring a good attitude with you each day!

Operations

● Be presentable, maintain good hygiene, wearing clean uniforms and bringing extra if needed.

● Do your part to make sure all equipment is loaded up and accounted for before leaving the shop or a job site.

● Ensure that you follow all Cardella standard operating procedures to the letter.

● Keep all storage locations, whether on company or customer premises, clean and organized. Ensure all vehicles, equipment and tools are kept clean and in good condition.

● Be proficient with our apps and software, including tasks such as daily and job clock in/out, work order updates, capture customer signatures upon completion, etc.

● Fulfill assignments given to you by the Operations Manager and Crew Leader such as the Vehicle Loadout Checklist and the Vehicle Appearance Checklist.

● Look for opportunities to assist your Crew Leader by working independently and taking initiative.

● Work to improve your skills in all areas of service every day.

● Progress through the Cardella 5-Star Certification Program and work toward becoming a Crew Leader.

Most importantly, the FT must be able to assist the crew leader in always providing exceptional care to our customers, regardless of circumstances.
