Growth Marketer

$75,000-$125,000/yr

The role We are builders who are solving the #1 problem facing the trades today: finding and growing talent in their businesses. We have found strong product market fit and are now growing our user base to deliver our agentic recruiter, Iris, to more small business owners in the trades. This is a real opportunity to build something. We have a product with traction, a sales motion that's working, and almost no formal marketing infrastructure. You'd be coming in to change that. You'll own performance marketing, organic content strategy, email programs, retargeting, and the reporting that tells us whether any of it is working. We're not looking for someone to manage agencies or sit in planning meetings. We want someone who opens the laptop and gets to work, runs tests, looks at the numbers, and does it again. We're excited to use technology to move faster. If you have opinions about how AI tools, automation, and good data infrastructure can make a small marketing function punch above its weight, that's exactly the kind of thinking we want here. Who you are • You're a self-starter who doesn't need structure to get moving. • You think in tests. You form a hypothesis, run the experiment, look at the data, and adjust. • You love data and are curious about digging into KPIs to find meaningful patterns • You can do multiple things well. Writing copy, running a paid campaign, and building a HubSpot workflow aren't separate jobs to you. • You're excited about AI tools and what they make possible for a small team. You're already using them, or you're actively figuring out how to. Who we are • We're building the solution to the number one problem in the trades: finding and growing talent. Small business owners in the trades are losing time and money to bad hiring. • Our product, Iris, is an agentic recruiter built specifically for trades businesses. We have strong product-market fit and a growing user base. • We're a small team that ships fast, runs lean, and skips the meetings that don't need to happen. We're excited about technology and we use it to move faster than we should be able to. • We care about the people we build for. Our customers are real business owners doing hard work, and that shapes how we talk about what we do. What you'll do each day • Run keyword and competitor research in Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar tools, and turn those findings into content and SEO priorities • Apply AEO and GEO best practices so our content shows up in AI-generated answers and search features, not just blue links • Keep our marketing contact lists clean and current; build and send email and newsletter campaigns in HubSpot • Build out our retargeting program: strategy, audience setup in HubSpot, Meta, and Google, and ongoing optimization • Connect the dots between ad copy, content scripts, onboarding, and demo handoff so the message stays consistent across the funnel • Work with subject matter experts on product marketing: gather feedback on what messaging is working, help develop new campaign angles, and test them in market • Repurpose content across formats: video scripts into static ads, static ads into HTML emails, and so on • Build exec-level reporting in HubSpot covering CAC, CAC:LTV, CAC Payback, CAC Debt, and other efficiency metrics What we're looking for • Solid performance marketing experience across paid search, paid social, and organic • Real experience with keyword and competitor research tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush, not just awareness of them • Familiarity with AEO and GEO: you know how LLMs and answer engines work and you think about it when creating content • HubSpot proficiency across contact management, email campaigns, audience building, and reporting • Experience building retargeting strategies from scratch: you've set up audiences, run the campaigns, and measured what actually moved the needle • Comfortable writing copy across formats: ads, emails, scripts, landing pages • Comfortable working with sales, product, and external SMEs to figure out what messaging lands • Experience repurposing content across video, static, and email formats • Can build a reporting dashboard that tells a clear story about CAC and efficiency to a non-marketing audience Nice to have • Experience running structured campaign tests with clear hypotheses and documented results • Comfortable writing or editing HTML for email • Has managed a content calendar across multiple formats and channels • Background in SaaS or PLG where you've worked a full funnel from content to demo to close • Has written internal documentation or playbooks that people actually went back and used

Software Engineer

Location not specified

$30,000-$60,000/yr

Software Engineer — Quality & AI Infrastructure We're hiring a mid-level engineer to own two things: the quality of our codebase and the early foundations of our AI agent work. The role Most of your time will be spent making our existing software more reliable. You'll dig into production bugs, trace them to root cause, and write the tests that should have caught them. You'll review pull requests in a way that raises the bar without demoralizing anyone. You'll tackle the tech debt that everyone complains about in retros but nobody picks up. The other part — and this is growing — is our AI agent work. We're building tooling, orchestration, and evaluation systems for LLM-powered features. This isn't a research project. It's production software that needs the same rigor as everything else we ship. We need someone who can bring that rigor. What you'll do • Debug and fix issues across the stack, from staging through production • Build meaningful test coverage (the kind that actually catches regressions) • Review code thoroughly — with context, not just style nits • Refactor the parts of the codebase that slow the team down • Help define how we ship: observability, release process, quality gates • Work with product and design to land features cleanly • Contribute to our AI agent infrastructure: tool-calling, orchestration, evaluation, safety Technical Requirements • 7+ years of professional engineering experience with a track record of shipping production SaaS products • Expert in Node.js, React, and TypeScript with strong product architecture instincts (scalability, maintainability, speed of iteration) • Hands-on Supabase experience: Postgres schema design, RLS policies, edge functions, and auth • Shipped production LLM-powered features (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) with a working understanding of prompt engineering, evals, latency/cost tradeoffs, and guardrails • Experience building agentic workflows, RAG systems, or tool-use integrations (MCP, function calling) • Excellent written English and self-directed async work style, with meaningful overlap with US Mountain Time • Comfortable using AI-native development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as part of daily workflow Your first 90 days: • Month 1: You've shipped real bug fixes. You're in the PR review rotation and contributing useful feedback. You have context on the parts of the system that break most often. • Month 2: Test coverage in your area has improved measurably. You've identified at least one chunk of tech debt worth prioritizing and started on it. • Month 3: You've shipped a meaningful refactor. You've made your first contributions to the AI agent infrastructure — something concrete, with results we can point to. We're not looking for someone who wants to rewrite everything from scratch. We want someone who makes the team steadily better — through reliable fixes, honest reviews, and the kind of infrastructure work that compounds over time. If you're also curious about what engineering looks like as AI agents become part of the workflow, even better.
