In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances. You’ll work both in the field and in a workshop environment, utilizing your expertise in electrical systems and equipment repair. Responsibilities • Diagnose appliance issues using schematics and technical manuals • Repair refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, garbage disposals, ovens/ranges • Assemble and disassemble appliance components as needed • Provide strong customer service and communicate clearly with clients • Operate a company vehicle responsibly • Maintain accurate records of services and parts used • Keep tools and equipment organized and maintained • Follow safety protocols on job sites and in customers’ homes Experience • 2 years of professional appliance repair experience or a related field required • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical systems • Excellent customer service and communication skills Requirements • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Must live within 20 miles of the Greater Columbus area or be willing to commute • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen • Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver appliances • Fluent in English • Comfortable with performance-based pay after training • Able to provide basic hand tools (screwdriver, drill, wrench, etc.) • Willing to work flexible hours and weekends as desired Compensation • $25–$50/hour (commission-based) Benefits • 401(k) • Company truck • Fuel card • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Paid training • Professional development assistance • Tools provided • Tuition reimbursement • Vision insurance
