Administrative and Operations Assistant (Part-Time)

Regina, Saskatchewan
onsite
$40,000-$80,000/yr

Precision Design Inc. is hiring an Administrative and Operations Assistant in Regina, SK. You will be the operational backbone that lets our team focus on design work and keep clients well looked after. This is a part-time onsite role to start (about 20 to 25 hours per week) that scales toward full-time as you take on more, reporting directly to our CEO. Who You Are: • You are organized enough that you know where any file lives and can put your hands on it in under two minutes. • You catch the small errors in numbers, dates, and names before they spread, and you treat that care as an advantage rather than a chore. • You close loops without being chased. You send the reminder, confirm the receipt, and verify the file actually uploaded. • You write clearly and proofread, so your emails and updates land with no typos, no run-ons, and the point up front. • You bring strong QuickBooks Online skills, entering bills, invoices, and expenses accurately and reconciling AR and AP. • You bring confidence across Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Excel) and project software such as LiquidPlanner, using native features rather than workarounds. Who We Are: • Precision Design Inc. is a Canadian engineering and design firm working in industrial equipment design since 2006. • We deliver prototyping, product development, and engineering services to clients across a range of industries. • We back our work with a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. What You Will Do Each Day: • Keep AP, AR, vendor bills, and expenses current and accurate each week in QuickBooks Online. • Make sure every active client project gets a weekly status update or follow-up. • Coordinate schedules, internal meetings, and client appointments, and keep upcoming commitments visible to the team. • Update project tasks and deadlines in LiquidPlanner and run reports for leadership. • Write down how recurring work gets done in clear SOPs and checklists so the next person can run it. Why You'll Love Working Here: • Part-time onsite role in Regina, Saskatchewan, about 20 to 25 hours per week to start, scaling toward 30 to 40. • You report directly to the CEO and own real variety across finance, coordination, and client communication, with room to build better systems. Next Steps: If you are the person who keeps everything running and likes it that way, apply today.

Mechanical Industrial Designer

Regina, Saskatchewan
onsite
$40,000-$80,000/yr

Precision Design Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Industrial Designer in Regina, SK. This is an onsite role for a designer who works in Autodesk Inventor and has a deep command of GD&T. You will own each project from the first sketch to the last bolt, and your drawings will be complete enough that the shop floor never has to call you to ask what you meant. Who You Are: • You are a designer who treats "good enough" as a failure mode and reviews your own work before it ever leaves your desk. • You catch the small errors that compound later, the kind no one else notices until a part does not fit. • You think in first principles, so you control interfaces, motion, and performance because you understand them, not because that is how it has always been done. • You take full ownership of an outcome, close the loop, and say "I will handle it" without waiting to be told. • You bring proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for detailed 3D models, assemblies, and production-ready drawings. • You bring working knowledge of fabrication, machining, welding, casting, and assembly, plus materials selection across metals, plastics, and composites. Who We Are: • Precision Design Inc. is a Canadian engineering and design firm working in industrial equipment design since 2006. • We serve clients across diverse industries with rapid prototyping, process safety, product development, 3D laser scanning, and reverse engineering. • We back our work with a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. What You Will Do Each Day: • Lead assigned projects from concept and client brief through to release-ready documentation. • Produce fully dimensioned 2D drawings with clear tolerances, fits, and manufacturing callouts. • Run design reviews and FMEA to catch tolerance and interface issues at the design stage, not on the floor. • Work with clients to define and refine design intent so the build matches what they actually need. • Stay involved through fabrication and commissioning to confirm performance in the real world. Why You'll Love Working Here: • Full-time onsite role in Regina, Saskatchewan. • You own complete projects end to end and see your designs built across a range of industries. Next Steps: If you want a role where your drawings are trusted to be complete, apply today.
